I am honored to have received the Education Award from I.S.A. Southern Chapter in April during their annual conference in Mobile. Last year I received the TCIA Pat Felix Volunteer of the Yaet Award for assisting with the Quailified Crew Leader program with many other super folks.

I pulled up to a house to give a proposal and found this. The client had started the removal of the tree using a ladder to work from and a 2 inch ratchet tie down strap to hold limbs. I like to see involved clients but hate to see unsafe setups. While the client didn't use our service to finish the tree, they did hire another company to finish it because they understood that they couldn't safely finish it. If you feel unsure about something stop reassess and replan the work or find qualified help. Be safe.

Safety first. Alabama Power de-engerized, isolated, and grounded a 7.2kw distribution line. They also disconnected the transformers from the line to prevent homeowner generator feedback. A job briefing was conducted prior to work starting including the crane operator and rigger. Obstructions, hazards, mitigation of hazards, employee duties, and personal protective equipment where discussed and everyone signed the job brief after any questions where answered. We planned the work and worked the plan. The work went safe and smooth. Thank you #AlabamaPower and #CraneWorks of.Mobile. As always a well earned thanks to our employees. Good job, team.
