Gary Ickes presenting his section during a workshop on identifying dangerous trees in your yard at the Fairhope Library on February 3rd of 2011.  Gary covered the stem or trunk area of tree defects.  This workshop was organized by Beau Brodbeck with Alabama Co-Operative Extension Service (ACES).  Beau presented the introduction and covered root defects.  Jack Rowe, also with ACES, covered canopy defects.
